The U.S. Mission in Quito, Ecuador is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Temporary Resource Coordination Specialist in the Public Affairs Section.POSITION:TEMPORARY RESOURCE COORDINATION SPECIALIST (6 months) Developmental level: FSN-9 / FP-05 OPENING PERIOD: February 22 to March 8, 2019 (COB)WORK HOURS: Full time 40 hours/weekSALARY: Local Staff . Developmental level – FSN-9 US$ 37,411 p.a. EFMs.. Developmental level FP-05*Final grade/step for NORs will be determined by Washington.OPEN TO: All interested candidates – All Sources DURATION OF APPOINTMENT: Not to exceed 6 months from initial date of hiring.START DATEPosition is open now. The successful applicant should be available to enter on duty within 30 days of being notified that s/he has been selected and cleared for employment.BASIC DUTIES OF POSITION: The Temporary Resource Coordination Specialist works under the direct supervision of the Public Affairs Officer or designee. Incumbent is responsible for the financial, program, human, and property resources that support Public Diplomacy [JB emphasis] projects and programs countrywide. Oversees use of multiple and diverse funding streams, and ensures their compliance with all relevant USG regulations and Ecuadorian laws. Manages grants, contracts, and acquisition and use of Section materials and equipment. Serves as primary liaison for the PD Section with the Management Section and regional PD bureaus, and coordinates with the American Spaces Director on American Spaces resources.HOW TO APPLY: Applications will only be received electronically.Applicants must submit the following documents to be considered.
